I missed this at the time

Detectives watched a house at 51 Benway Dr. in north Etobicoke this summer. That turns out to be where a red Ford Mustang used by Lisi was parked. Some of the activities officers observed are blacked out.

[...]

The Star discovered that 51 Benway was named in a February police news release related to a missing woman, Jaclyn Dawe, 35, who was last seen there on Feb. 9, 2013.

Police spokesman Mark Pugash said Saturday that Dawe is still missing. There is nothing in the document, other than the address, to connect the missing woman to Boot or Lisi.

OK, now we're getting creepy...

That article notes that Ford is suspected of paying the utilities at the house where the "crack video" was taken.

I'd say things have been creepy for awhile.

I've been poking around since I saw that last night and have noticed that there are a LOT of people on Twitter tweeting @ The Star about Dawe, so I would like to think some journalists are looking into it.

It's weird that there isn't anything online about her being missing. Often family or friends will put up a Facebook page, but unless I'm really bad at Google, I can't find anything.

There is a post on Facebook asking people to contact the Toronto police with any information, but it's from February 12, otherwise there's a page belonging to a women with that name from British Columbia, but that's about it.

Twitter comment: "she's on the coathanger"

What? That comment doesn't come up in a search, and I don't even know what that means but it sounds disgusting.

Sorry, the exact comments are:

"[Ford]told council there's nothing left in his "closet" but "maybe a coathanger"

"Anyone else afraid of what's on that coathanger? "

"unfortunately, possibly the missing Jaclyn Dawe"

Oh, got it, thanks. Out of context that sounded horrible! But now I see exactly why it didn't turn up in a search... and those tweeters are probably on to something, sadly.

I keep expecting Detectives Nick Knight, Mike Sweeney or Victoria Castillo to show up in this saga. Or maybe Dominic Da Vinci comes to visit from Vancouver.

I feel like this might be more suited to the team from "To Catch A Thief".
