So the self-admittedly imperfect Esseghaier presumes to know whether God has made anything else capable of striving for perfection.

Thereby claiming to speak for God, which is indisputably taking God's name in vain.

I suppose he's saying he will not be treated fairly unless he's tried by a Sharia court, but do even fundamentalist Muslims hold that Sharia courts possess Papal-style infallibility? Maybe he's saying in a roundabout way that only Allah can judge him.
