Date: 2019-02-09 04:00 pm (UTC)The Lady of Shalott is an Alfred, Lord Tennyson poem about the eponymous Lady, whose perfectly acceptable life in a tower with a mirror that lets her enjoy existence is ruined by that jerk-ass Lancelot.
There are two other painting in the series. One depicts the moment when the Lady is all phwoar over Arthurian Britain's romantic ebola:
And the third, where she's floating off to her death.
The moral here is that book reviewers should keep busy working and not bother themselves with distractions.
