Joined a Mutants and Masterminds SHRPG group

People I know only from online or had never met. Go social me!

Huge group, most of whom have never played M&M before. Campaign began with a mass-empowermment event.

Interestingly almost no overlap in archtypes--Ice controlling elemental, weapon master, energy controller (electricity), magician, speedster, mentalist, someone who can create and control knitted objects (much more useful than you may expect), a gadgeteer, and a fast bruiser--a few common powers but not the ones I expected (several people have invisibility), but some collisions in name-space. And there's a character with "the axe" in their name who carries a sword.

Oh, and the age range for the PCs is huge: 13 to 83. The other players are much younger than I am.

I was briefly baffled when I saw you joined an M&M group because I was thinking of the retail outlet that sells packaged foods. I am still a bit confused as to which RPG is being referenced but I suspect it is not a place that sells chicken nuggets and jars of sweet and sour sauce.

James's group is actually role-playing food inspectors in a world not unlike our own.

I would read the game notes for those sessions.
