As to Anderson fading rapidly into obscurity, a trade paperback of the original version of THE BROKEN SWORD was recently published; a few years ago, all of his Polesotechnic/Terran Empire series novels and stories were published in a multivolime series. Also, there was a rather recent book, MULTIVERSE, with various authors writing stories set in the great Poul Anderson’s worlds, and being sequels to tales of his. And there is blog devoted to Poul Anderson Appreciation, to which I recently contributed a pair of guest posts.

I’ll admit that Anderson would be more famous if he had received the Nobel Prize in Literature which I think, and the late Jerry Pournelle thought, that he deserved.
