james_davis_nicollThe exgf's cats used to try to follow me out the door so to distract them I took to throwing crumples of paper away from the door. Then they took to showing up because I always throw crumples for them, so in terms of keeping cats away from the door, total failure.
Today the smarter one walked up to me as I was getting ready to leave and dropped a crumple by my feet, then looked at me expectantly.
