I will give Justin Trudeau this: at least he's not a blatant torture-justifying, Iraq-invasion-supporting, war-crime-dismissing two-faced American carpetbagger and I'd be more comfortable with him as a potential PM than I was with Iggie.
But is Justin the right man to lead the Liberals, at one time better known than the SoCreds and the Ballot-Eating Party combined, out of their seemingly endless dark age?
Is the problem that Liberals have not come to terms with the fact they are no longer one of Big Two parties, that they expect broad support as their birthright? Or is turning to Justin just part of the same creative malaise that sees film companies turning to remakes in the hope of salvation in the form of familiar brands?
