Do you have a tag for Winston books?

Thanks. I saw a lot of these books when I was growing up in the 70s.

That cover offers everything anyone could ever want from science fiction.
austin_dern: Actually predating the Tron sequel. You can tell by how the chest patterns look. (Tron)

I don't know. There isn't an obvious dome over the city. Give me a domed city and you may do whatever you like with the rest of the story.

Hey James? If you're going to insist on doing notes as endnotes, with no hyperlink, please do not also put a numbered list in the body of your article. I was left hopelessly confused for a considerable amount of time.

I think a better method of handling footnotes would be to make them endnotes at the paragraph level instead of the article level. And in either case, since you're on an HTML page, you could make the footnote number a hyperlink that takes you to the footnote itself (with the corresponding number at the start of the footnote taking you back).

Supposing you're directly editing the HTML content:

The term of art is "bookmark".

LibreOffice should allow you to make footnotes that are links. Try reading this: https://superuser.com/questions/627823/set-hyperlinks-and-anchors-on-libreoffice

Or possibly footnotes directly.

"unremarkable but ineluctably present Jim"

And Bob was there, too.
